Okay, so a lot has changed, but less is different and more is the same than you really think. North of Here still exists to see people encounter God through music and singing. As North of Here has morphed and changed over the years Casey and I have grown as a couple, as musicians, as writers, and ultimately as worshippers-also the spirit in which these words are being written to you today.
We are now the full time worship leaders for the NextGEN ministries at Savannah Christian Church. Their vision to see college and young adults worship and learn about God is the same vision that has propelled North of Here forward all these years.
As North of Here, Casey and I will continue to write, record, and play music that leads people to a place of worship with their Creator. Whether it is at a weekend camp, concert, or retreat or at a NextGEN weekly event our hope is that this music will allow three things to happen in your life as you worship with us.
ELEVATE, ENCOUNTER, EMERGE
Together we elevate the name of Jesus.
Together we encounter God through our worship of Him.
Together we emerge from this experience more like Jesus.
Jeff.
Worship Adorations "Love Song" By North of Here
BIO
Truth while often elusive is certainly not relative. While its height and depth cannot be fully known, we believe that there are evidences of "Truth" in our lives. And it is through these evidences that we find our Faith in that Truth. North of Here’s music is built on this premise, this hope; and exists to lead people to worship the God who is this Truth and Hope.
North of Here began with Jeff and Casey Sanders in the summer of 1999, as a duo. They married in 2001 and continued to write and perform their music while serving as worship leaders at Northstar Church in Jacksonville, FL.. In 2006 they joined Savannah Christian’s NextGEN ministry as full time worship leaders.
While many musicians have come and gone over the years, the music has continued to grow and evolve. Now with a more focused direction they are poised to release a fresh take on modern worship.
Congratulations Jeff and Casey. We are so happy for the blessing the Lord has given you both. We know that the Lord will always be wit you and be your guide. Love The Baran Family (Frank, Muriel, & Melissa)
Congratulations! We could not be more excited for you. Saw the pictures on Erins myspace and shes beautiful, you like quite amazing as well. Hope youre settling into Mommyhood, enjoy every second of it.
You are so awesome! I can't believe I've known you for 2 almost 3 whole years! I was lucky enough to be at the baby shower and to visit at the hospital to see mommy and little P.E.S!! I am so blessed to have had you in my life! I am possitive that there will be no other band like you in Ellijay, but I hope everyone in the band keeps in touch! I love all of you and I wanna thank you for making me feel like part of the family!!!
Jeff and Casey, Congratulations! Nick just told me y'all were having a baby. I looked at all the pictures and Casey, you just look so excited in all the pictures.
And y'all are going to make great parents. You're going to have a very musically inclined little girl.
It is amazing, its this huge rush of indescribable emotion. Having him home has been so great, God must have been confused on the day he passed out babies because Matthew is the easiest baby ever! And I have no idea what I did to deserve him. Oh and take the drugs! Not the IV ones those are crap that only make you feel drunk and dont help with the pain, wait for the epidural...HEAVEN!
Thanks, he is such a good baby. the sleeping part is a little rough but we are working through it. I know Em is exhausted, get as much sleep in the hospital as you can. He had his first meeting at the base pediatrics, every thing is good so far. Good luck with "Bob". keep us posted and we will be doing the same.
